Metro Community Health Centers
“…makes the hard parts easy. He brings all the vendors to the table and lists out key points for each.”
The Starting Point
Metro is a federally funded health center with 110 staff across 5 sites. Finding new vendors and doing the homework on each one fell to its own team, and internet outages were cutting off health records and blocking telehealth.
What We Did
We brought the vendors to the table and laid out each one's key points, pros and cons in easy-to-understand proposals. For internet, we recommended paying $250 a month more for downloads 17 times faster and uploads 23 times faster, to end the outages that cut off health records and blocked telehealth. For the contact center, we brought in AI help for refills, scheduling and after-hours support.
The Outcome
Phone costs fell 75%, from $8,099 to $2,024 a month. The contact center costs 35% less, mobile costs 20% less, and a dead zone at headquarters is fixed. Over three years Metro's savings come to about $410K, even after paying more for faster internet, and the projected impact of its AI contact-center agent adds about $467K, for about $877K in savings and impact. Metro has been a client since January 2022, keeps coming back for new projects, and gave us a 10 out of 10 in writing.
